On the night of March 15, 2026, Fiona’s visit to the Big Bear eagle nest turned an otherwise peaceful scene into an evening surprise. Jackie had been sleeping over her eggs when faint movement in the nest tree caught her attention. Within seconds, she woke to find Fiona, the resident flying squirrel, suddenly right in front of her in the dark.
